Prestigious leisure facility Old Hall Country Club and Spa, was under pressure to expand its facilities to meet growing demand because of increasing membership numbers and spa users.
McCormick Architecture designed a new extension that would complement the Grade II listed main building but be subservient to it, using a predominantly lean-to style in bricks to match the existing brickwork.
The roof of the new building was in natural slate to match the existing building, with the roof slope forming a natural visual extension running down to eaves level.
Features:
Simple, traditional farm building character link elements, garden room incorporating hardwood and glazed doors and screens and some rooflighting to provide light, bright interior spaces.
