Spencer Holdings Plc is a countrywide organisation with a portfolio of self-owned commercial and industrial properties and estate developments, many of which are in North Wales.

McCormick Architecture was appointed to undertake the masterplanning and detailed design of Mold Business Park, stemming from its expertise and wide experience of B1 and B2 accommodation, and its involvement as the masterplanning detailed design architects for Redrow Commercial Developments Ltd at St David's Park in Ewloe.

The proposal and site masterplan were developed taking into consideration natural constraints, site development guidelines and Flintshire County Council's general planning policies. The site layout was designed to offer a wide variety of differing units within the B1 and B2 class usage, ranging from small starter hybrid units for office facilities and production research facilities to two- and three-storey pavilion office blocks, moving up to a purpose-designed office and showroom facility and purpose-designed offices and production facilities for one of the client's existing tenants.
